A Park Güell ticket costs €18 on the official website, and it is the only place you need to buy it if you just want to walk around the mosaic terrace and Gaudí’s buildings. Tickets are sold online only, for a 30-minute entry window, so book before you go.
This guide covers the official prices, the official and reseller guided tours, and the rules that catch visitors out. Prices were checked on 18 October 2026.

- Online only. The official site sells tickets online. There is no point queuing at the gate without one.

- No re-entry. Once you leave the Monumental Zone, you can’t go back in on the same ticket.

The plain entry ticket costs €4 more on GetYourGuide than on the official site, for the same timed entry. Guided tours are where the comparison gets interesting. The official guided tour costs €17 on top of the €18 ticket, so €35 in total. The Viator guided tour from €27 and the GetYourGuide guided tour with a timed ticket from €30 can be cheaper, but read the description carefully: check that the entry ticket is included and how big the group is.
Which option is best?
- Most visitors: the official €18 ticket. The park is easy to explore on your own with the free map.
- You want context on Gaudí’s ideas: the official guided tour (about 50 minutes, up to 25 people) or the “Plus” tour (about 90 minutes, up to 15 people, €29 extra).
- Official tours full: a reseller guided tour that clearly includes the entry ticket.
Pros
- Official ticket is the cheapest way in
- Large free area of the park around the paid zone
- Guided tours available in several languages
Cons
- Online only, with a strict 30-minute entry window
- No re-entry to the Monumental Zone
- Steep walk up from the metro
Getting there
The park sits on a hill. Many visitors take the metro to Vallcarca or Lesseps and walk up, or take a bus that stops closer to the entrance. Allow 20–30 minutes from the metro so you don’t miss your slot.
Planning a Gaudí day
Park Güell is in the north of the city, while Gaudí’s houses are in the centre on Passeig de Gràcia, and the Sagrada Família sits between them. A realistic day is Park Güell in the morning, lunch in Gràcia, and the Sagrada Família in the afternoon.
- Casa Batlló: general visit from €29 on the official site, about 75 minutes. Booking online is cheaper than the ticket office.
- Casa Milà (La Pedrera): Essential day ticket from €29, with sunset and night visits as alternatives.
- Camp Nou: the stadium is still partly closed for works. The museum ticket costs from €28, and the guided Spotify Camp Nou Experience with a panoramic view of the stadium costs €69.
All of these use timed tickets, so book them before your trip, especially in spring and summer.
Visiting the Sagrada Família the same day? Leave at least two hours between the two time slots. More ideas in our Barcelona guides.
